January 2003 saw the completion of the first major retail store installation of Architectural Lighting products in Australia with the installation of over forty intelligent fixtures in the high profile and competitive youth market of sports shoes.

The store is Hype DC at Pitt Street Mall in Sydney. This has established itself, as one of the leading stores of it's kind in Sydney. A further two new stores have been opened in Sydney since that time and both have also embraced this new technology. Beyond Audio Visual was awarded the contract for all of these stores and continues to service these outlets today.
